He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Slama and Alberta Slama (Nettlebeck). He is survived by: his wife Bev Slama of Humboldt; his children, Rick Slama (Kim) of Humboldt and Jodi Slama of Alexandria, VA; his grandson Ian Slama (Jessica) of Columbus, NE; and his siblings, Joe Slama of Humboldt, Tom Slama of Lincoln and Cathy George (Ray) of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wherry Mortuary (207 Nemaha St, Humboldt, NE 68376).
