She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Owings and Gleola U. Owings (Ginn); her parents-in-law, Clifford and Nora Dettmann (White); her brother Ronnie Owings; and her grandson Dakota Dettmann.
She is survived by: her husband Weldon Dettmann of Humboldt, NE; her sons, Rick Dettmann (Donna) of Osceola, MO and Rod Dettmann (Chris) of Humboldt, NE; her brother Jim Owings of Stella, NE; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Dettmann of Bern, KS, Mildred Beethe of Louisville, NE, Norma Kay Schutte of Lincoln, NE and Doris Jean Shafer (Wayne) of Stella, NE. She is also survived by 5 granddaughters; 3 great-grandsons & 1 great-granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Wherry Mortuary (207 Nemaha St, Humboldt, NE 68376).
Memorials contributions may be given to the family's choice with a later designation.
