She was predeceased by: her parents, Milo Herink and Marie Herink (Vstecka); her husband Mylen Wegener; her stepfather Andrew Glish; her siblings, Marcella Dohmen (Bernard), Norma Hemmer (Everett) and Arlen Herink; her great grandchild Forest Davis; her brother-in-law Michael Balister; her parents-in-law, Dora and Ben Wegener; and her siblings-in-law, Lee Wegener (Berniece), Earl Wegener (Helen), Emmet Wegener (Rita), Bertha Wiese (Leo) and Colette Beierman (Alvin).
She is survived by: her children, Lois Leatherman (Jim) of Stuart, Florida, Mary Kay Krings (Hank) of Elkhorn, Nebraska, Jim Wegener (Michele) of Cornlea, Teresa Dinkel (Gene) of Palmer, Alaska, Michael Wegener (Lori) of Humphrey, Cindy Gilsdorf (Curtis) of Salina, Kansas and Greg Wegener of Cornlea; her siblings, Milo "Sonny" Herink (Rita) of Humphrey, Lorraine Balister of Germantown, Wisconsin and Allen Herink (Jane) of Pewaukee, Wisconsin; and her siblings-in-law, Gene and Gladys Pfeifer of Humphrey. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Humphrey Rescue Unit, Saint Francis Catholic Church or School, or the donor's choice.
