It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Labenz of Humphrey, Nebraska, who passed away on September 3, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Paul is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Labenz and Clara Labenz (Wilhelm); and his siblings, Donald Labenz, Pat Korth (Elmer), Rita Weidner (Sylvester "Pep") and Marceda Masur (Gene).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Drawbaugh of Norfolk; and his children, Kurt Labenz (Sharon) of Gretna, Keith Labenz (Janelle) of Norfolk and Karen Premer (Dustin) of Kearney. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (203 S 5th St, Humphrey, NE 68642). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
