He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bruckner and Margaret Bruckner (Simoneau); his brothers, Jim and Ray; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Micek and Milton Lueschen Sr..

He is survived by: his sisters, Dianne Bruckner of Humphrey, Carol Micek of Shelby and Cindy Lueschen of Humphrey; his niece Crystal Zimmerman (Ken); and his nephews, Milton Lueschen, Craig Micek (Tara), Curt Micek (Susan), Cory Micek (Sara) and Michael Bruckner.

Memorials may be directed to the Humphrey Rescue Unit or in care of the family.
