She was predeceased by : her parents, Cleo Nowlin and Louise Nowlin (Buchholz); her children, Mark Allen Thomas and Lila Kay Klitzke; and her siblings, Robert Nowlin, Vera McQueen and Charlie Nowlin.

She is survived by : her brother David Nowlin of WaKeeney, KS; and her children, Louella Slater (John) of Amarillo, TX, Kenneth Thomas (Gail) of Tampa, FL, Linda Thomas of Wauneta, NE, Richard Thomas (Penny) of Indianola, NE and Rita Hansen (Craig) of Oberlin, KS. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the WaKeeney City Cemetery. A reception will be held on Friday, June 7th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Western Cooperative Electric Building (635 S 13th St, WaKeeney, KS 67672). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 7th 2024 at the Western Coop Electric.
