He is survived by: his wife Sharon Horst; his sons, Dennis Horst of Grand Island and Dean Horst (LaVay) of North Platte; his sister Margie Thomssen; and his siblings-in-law, John, Kevin Hickey, Jackie Luth and Gay Geeson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
