He is survived by: his wife Catherine Petersen; his children, Jill Johnson (Keith) of Kearney Nebraska, Connie Burke (Ray) of Omaha Nebraska, Bernard (Adriane) of Ely Nevada, Clark Petersen (Valerie) of Manhattan, KS, Guy Petersen (Laura) of Louisville Kentucky and Mary Benson (Tom) of Frisco, TX; his stepchildren, Bridget Long (David) of Peck, KS, Leigh Ann Hyche of Huntsville, AL and Brittany Sellers of Nashville, TN; and his sisters, Linda Morgan (Clarence) and Dorothy Watters (Mike). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
