She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Nordbrock and Leola Nordbrock (Anderson); her son Michael Compton; and her brother Ronald Nordbrock. She is survived by: her husband Harry Compton of Kearney; her daughters, Cammie Cole (Jeff) of Minden and Crystal Nelson (Dennis) of Broadview, Montana; her grandchildren, Ryan Chandler, Joshua Chandler, Rylie Cole, Cassie Cole, Jordan Cole, Lindsey Botz (Brent), Dakotah Nelson (Sarah) and Dawson Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Charlie Chandler and Bryce Botz.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Homes and Cremations (4115 Avenue N Pl, Kearney, NE 68847). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
