She was predeceased by: her parents, August Helfrich and Clara Helfrich (Rupe); her former husband Gerald Gehring; and her grandson Ghett Gehring. She is survived by: her husband Jim Shaw (Jim) of Kearney; her children, Michelle Dorszynski (Dan) of Minden, Monica Kettner (Jim) of Kearney and Greg Gehring of Pierre, SD; and her brother Bruce Willson (Peggy) of Holdrege. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
