It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce W. Stewart of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Chadron, Nebraska, who passed away on June 1, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Stewart and Sybil A. Stewart (Fleming); his daughter Jolynn Jay Nichols; his brother Robert R.; his sister-in-law Maxine Stewart; his parents-in-law, Forrest and Elsie Planck; and his brothers-in-law, Donald E. Wilkinson and Robert D. Bowman.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha; his children, Kim Kathleen Sorensen (Jeffrey Woodall) and David Weston Stewart; his sister Joan E. Stewart; his grandchildren, Heather Lyman (Dave), Nathan Nichols, Nicole Tomlinson (Philip), Tyler Sorensen (Jillian) and Trenton Sorensen (Paige); his great grandchildren, Jakob Nichols, Lawson Nichols, Noah Nichols, Landry Nichols, Mackenzie Tomlinson, Harper Lyman, Jackson Tomlinson, Benjamin Lyman and Evren Sorensen; and his sisters-in-law, Myrna R. Bowman and Natha J. Wilkinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
