Carla A. Fruhling Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carla A. Fruhling of Kearney, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Carl A. Buettner; her husband Leland Fruhling; her mother Helen Buettner; her sister Alicia Keller; and her nephews, David and TJ Buettner.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Fruhling of Kearney and Janette Sue Fruhling of Elm Creek, NE; her grandchildren, Dylan, Collin, Jaiden and Julissa; and her great grandchildren, Kendrick, Anelise and Bastian.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services (2421 Avenue A, Kearney, NE 68847). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the First Lutheran Church (3315 Avenue A, Kearney, NE 68847).
Memorials are suggested to The ARC of Buffalo County or the Kearney Area Animal Shelter, care of the family.
