She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Edward and Katie Meuret (Boyle); her daughter Mary Dennis; her siblings, Lee Meuret (Mary Anne), John Meuret (Rosie) and Margaret Phillip (Phillip); and her siblings-in-law, Nelda Meuret, Rose Frickel, LaVern Straka, Alvin Straka and Edwin Straka.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Straka of Kearney; her children, Steve Straka (Anne) of Buda, TX, Gerard Straka (Nicole) of Kearney, Maureen Bird (Dan) of Kearney and Joe Straka (Heidi) of Kearney; her son-in-law Steve Dennis of Kearney; her grandchildren, Don Straka (Jacque), Abigail Hinrichsen (Jordan), Benjamin Dennis (Jen), Andrew Dennis (Nikki), Derek Dennis, McKensie Downey (Ryan), Parker Armstrong (Andrew), Colt Straka, Harley Straka, James Bird (Anna), Brian Bird (Morgan), Kevin Bird (Megan), Whitley Ellingson (Tanner) and Samuel Straka (Alexis); her brothers, Joseph Meuret (Virginia) of Kearney and Dick Meuret (Louise) of Brunswick, NE; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Straka of Atkinson, NE and Pam Straka of Omaha. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, extended family.
Memorials are suggested to the Central Nebraska Veterans' Home or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
