With sadness, we share the passing of Dennis Shultz of Kearney, Nebraska. Dennis, born on August 18, 1947, passed away on October 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Shultz and Wanda Shultz (Gillming); and his brothers, Terry, Ron and Tom.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Walker (Bryan) of Holmen, WI, Kathleen Roeder (Jason) of Kearney, NE, Jeff Shultz (Andrea) of Omaha, NE and Danielle Shultz (Mo) of Omaha, NE; and his siblings, Monty Shultz (Peggy) of Spokane, WA, John Shultz (Shirley) of Holdrege, NE, Carolyn Musil (Rick) of Texas and Becky Burnley (John) of Urbandale, IA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Homes and Cremations (4115 Avenue N Pl, Kearney, NE 68847). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
