He was predeceased by: his parents, E. V. Roberts and Margaret Viana Roberts (Anderson); his spouse Jean Ann Ryan of Axtell; and his siblings, Maurice Roberts (Pete) of New Cambria, KS, Vernon of Council Grove, KS and Emma Jean Mcntyre of Maitland, MO..
He is survived by: his children, Brad Roberts of Heartwell, NE, Greg Roberts (Rhonda) of Funk, NE, Jeff Roberts of Axtell, NE, Joe Roberts (Leisha) of Axtell, NE, Dennis (Sara) of Axtell, NE, Kathy Roberts of Kearney, NE and Teresa Aten (Mark) of Elm Creek, NE; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Shane, Cody, Justin, Nate, Brett, Madison, Andrea and Matt; his great grandchildren, Brooks, Colgan, Maelyn, Charlie, Riley, James, Emery, John, Eli, Jensen, Pierce, Nixon, Ellie, Evangeline and Felicie; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Johnson of Mason City, NE, Sharon Roberts of Council Grove, KS and Cleta Roberts of New Cambria, KS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St John Catholic Church (624 N Garber Ave, Minden, NE 68959). A rosary will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (624 N Garber Ave, Minden, NE 68959). The military honors will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
