She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Berg and Mildred Berg (Einspahr); her husbands, James Scarborough and Hubert Heiden; her son James Scarborough, Jr.; and her siblings, Everett, Bernard, Lamont, Donald Berg and Ruth Lautenschlagher (Harold).

She is survived by: her children, Robert Scarborough (Jewel) of Kearney, Cheryl Scarborough of Kearney, Marsha Fowler of Norton, KS and Mark Scarborough (Tammy) of Winside, NE; her stepchildren, Norman Heiden (Lorraine) of Kearney, Sandra Heiden of Kearney, Debra Matasovsky (Harlan) of Storm Lake, IA, Marsha Hansen (Dana) of Wood River and Kenneth Heiden (Rebecca) of Lincoln; and her brother Ronald Berg (Linda) of Golden, CO. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
