She is survived by: her daughters, Vanessa Crowley (Jason) of Kearney and Renee Landstrom of Axtell; and her grandchildren, Rebecca, Megan Crowley, Aaron Landstrom (Stephanie) and Jason Landstrom (Jayleen).

Memorials are suggested to the Mitchell Scholarship Foundation at Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
