He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon; and his siblings, Guy and Shirley. He is survived by: his former spouse Kearney; his family Kearney; his daughters, Carrie Fairbairn (Kyle) of Omaha, Laurie Schramm (Shane) of Omaha and Julie Mason of Omaha; his grandchildren, Mason Fairbairn, Case Fairbairn, Luke Schramm, Taylor Schramm and Jake Schramm; his close friend Barb; Carrie, Laurie and Julie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews; two honorary granddaughters.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (4500 Linden Dr, Kearney, NE 68847).
Memorials are suggested to Kearney First United Methodist Church (Designated for Christian Education or to the library), or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
