Gerald F. Menke Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloys Menke (Al) and Clara Menke (Dolnicek); his parents-in-law, Bill and Rose Pohlmeier; and his siblings-in-law, Bill J. Pohlmeier and Mary Lou Brockman.
He is survived by: his son Gary Joseph (Adeline Bashaw); his wife Carolyn; his daughter Lynette Eyerly (Brandon); his grandchildren, Esston Menke, Connor Eyerly and Jillian Eyerly; his siblings, Elaine Hansen (Gene), Marilyn Kaup (Ken) and Raymond Menke (Carolyn); his brother-in-law Virgil Brockman; and his brothers, Clint (Lorraine Buller) and Gene (Jayne Pohlmeier).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (2407 W 56th St, Kearney, NE 68845). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Jerry supported these groups and organizations: Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Kearney Public Schools Foundation, (Horizon Middle School), Aquinas Catholic Schools, and Dobytown Kiwanis.
