She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Cherry and Anna Cherry (Supanchick); and her siblings, Deloris Smith, Ethel McAlevy, Clarena Overholser, Everett Cherry and Vern Cherry.
She is survived by: her husband Walter Young; her daughters, Sandy Rash of Kearney and Sheri Meyer (Craig) of Arizona; and her siblings-in-law, Norma Cherry of Kearney and Royce Smith of Oregon. She is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
