He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Shiers and Irene Shiers (Peters). He is survived by: his significant other Kathy Olsufka; his sons, John (Misti) and James (Robyn); his grandchildren, Sierra, Layne, Vivian and Fritz; his great grandchild Sienna; his close friend Heath Schake; and his siblings, Barb Jensen of Lincoln, Sandy Bishop (Joe) of Worland, WY. and Larry (Sallee). He is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 110 2nd Ave, Kearney, NE 68847.
