He was predeceased by: his mother Eleanor Goedert (Sullentrop); his wife Marilyn Mae Sommers; and his parent Dob. He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Goedert (Jill) of Kearney, Jeff Goedert (Shelli Davis) of Norfolk and Jon Goedert (Melissa) of Denver, Colorado; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Goedert, Taylor Brown, Pierce Wright and Parker Wright; and his great grandchild Waverly Wright.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort McPherson National Cemetery (NE-56A Spur, Maxwell, NE 69151).
