With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette D. Evan of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Jeanette leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Jeanette may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Griss and Florence Griss (Juhl); her husband Michael Evan, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Silvia Griss. She is survived by: her sons, Jason Evan (Cheryl) and John Evan; and her siblings, Jeff, Jim, Jack, Janice and Jill. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
