We bid farewell to Joan H. Lewis of Kearney, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 23, 2026 at the age of 82. Joan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Johnson and Bessie Johnson; her grandmother Heidi; and her husband Tom. She is survived by: her sons, Mike (Tracey Lewis), Dan Lewis of Lubbock and Nathan Lewis of Lubbock; her sisters, Nellie Dickenson of Ocala and Louise Hicks of New Glarus, Wisconsin; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Tannis, Oliver and Summer Norton of Sioux City. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of cut flowers, the family asks for contributions to help create a memorial garden at her home.
