We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2023, at the age of 83, John H. Martin of Kearney, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clayton E. Martin and Grace M. Martin (Zeilinger); his brother Lynn Martin; his nephew Dusty Sprague; and his cousin Maxine Rizer.

He is survived by : his wife Sharon Martin of Riverdale; his sons, John C. Martin (Leslie) of Pleasanton and Charles T. Martin (Julie) of Kearney; his grandchildren, Jenna Palu (Tanner), Lani Matney (Jake) and Jedidiah Martin; his great grandchildren, Tasen, Briggs and Hexten Palu; his sisters-in-law, Sandra Martin and Barbara Gibbs; his nieces, Amy Mayhew, Christine Knezevic and Dawn Sprague; and his nephew Darrin Sprague.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 21st 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 22nd 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasanton United Methodist Church (702 Sycamore St, Pleasanton, NE 68866). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 22nd 2023 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials are suggested to the Pleasanton Lions Club, the Pleasanton United Methodist Church or the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation.
