With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lana K. Sullwold of Kearney, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Stauffer and Hazel Stauffer (Holsten); her brother Kevin Stauffer; and her great-nephew Brandt Stauffer. She is survived by: her husband Karl Sullwold of Kearney; her children, Shawn Sullwold (Stacy) of Grand Island, Kari Duff (Jack) of Avon Lake, OH and Megan Branstiter (Mike) of Elm Creek; and her brother Ron Stauffer (Jackie) of Elm Creek. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Homes and Cremations (4115 Avenue N Pl, Kearney, NE 68847). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (4500 Linden Dr, Kearney, NE 68847).
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
