Larry Larson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Larson in Kearney, Nebraska, born in Broken Bow, Nebraska, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Larson and Opal Larson (Neth); his in-laws, Harold and Bonnie Cool; and his granddaughter Lexandra Lorene Larson.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Jo (Cool); his daughters, Heather Schmidt (Andy), Angela Stump (Leland) of Hampton, NE and Allison McDonald (Blaine) of Norfolk, NE; his stepgrandson Luke; and his grandchildren, Emmaleigh, Korbin, Reis Stump and Nolan McDonald. He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Govier Brothers Mortuary (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Govier Brothers Chapel (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822).
