He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Kenney and Elsie Kenney (Hibberd). He is survived by: his father-in-law Bernard Eckhout; his wife Mary Alice; and his children, Pamela Hollibaugh (Bob) of Rapid City, SD, Paul Kenney (Angie) of Amherst, NE and Patricia Hilger (Tim) of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by seven grandsons, & 15 great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (3801 Avenue A, Kearney, NE 68847). Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Amherst Fire Department, YMCA Parkinson's class, St. James Catholic Church.
