She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar Simpson and Thelma Simpson (Fletcher); her husband Sherman Luhn; her daughter Kimberly Vos; and her siblings, Don Simpson and Karen Nickson.
She is survived by : her son Vincent "Ed" Luhn (Cindy) of Kearney; her son-in-law Robert Vos of Kearney; her grandchildren, Emily Vos of Newberg, Brittany Vos-Diaz (Sarah) of Kearney, Nathan Luhn (Laura) of Grand Island and Nicholas Luhn (Sierra) of Aurora; and her close friends, Mary Alice Hyden of Broken Arrow, OK, Carolyn Westman and Karen Baye of Kearney. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, many extended family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Homes and Cremations (4115 Avenue N Pl, Kearney, NE 68847). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (2421 Avenue A, Kearney, NE 68847).
