He is survived by: his former wife Marlene Mead; his close friend Doris Vanvleet; his children, Kalvin of Shelton, NE, Kindra Shiers of Gibbon, NE and Kenny (Diane); his grandchild Kalyn Krotz (Anthony) of Wheatland, WY; his children, Autumn Pena (Michael) of Shelton, NE, Derek Mead (Carrie) of Grand Island, NE, Tyler Shiers (Hillary) of Wood River, NE and Steven Mead of Holdrege, NE; his great grandchildren, Zailey and Katriel Krotz; his grandchildren, Micaiah, Annaiah Pena, Kedrek Mead of Grand Island, NE, McKinleigh Norton and Emmett Shiers; his siblings, Ruth Schuller of Tulsa, OK, Charles Mead (Judy) of Wood River, NE, Beth Dobish (Cletus) of Lincoln, NE and Ronnie Mead (Terri) of North Platte, NE; and his sisters-in-law, Ellen Mead of Norfolk, NE and Sue Mead of Wood River, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
