He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Schepler and Ethel Schepler (Meyers); his wife Nancy Schepler; and his siblings, Virginia Packett (Marion) and Richard Schepler.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Terry Gerdes; his children, Jane Gerdes (Terry) of Kearney, Jeff Schepler (Brenda) of St. Cloud, FL and Joyce Dahlbeck (Scott) of San Antonio, TX; his sister Cora Kriley (Carl) of San Angelo, TX; and his sister-in-law Pat Schepler of Kearney.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the New Life Church (2715 W 39th St, Kearney, NE 68845-8243).
