He was predeceased by: his parents, George Clausen and Hilma Clausen (Ruthstrom); and his grandson Tommy. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary McDonald (Randy Roemfeldt) and Melissa McDonald; his grandchildren, Victor McDonald, Crystal McDonald, Christopher McDonald (Jessica), Amanda McDonald, Derick Lawter and Dillon Lawter; and his friend Bob Beins. He is also survived by 8 great- grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Homes and Cremations (4115 Avenue N Pl, Kearney, NE 68847). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
