He is survived by: his wife Peggy Nelson of Summerhaven Lake; his son Robert Nelson (Jessica); his grandchildren, Amelia of Kearney, Emma of Kearney, James of Kearney, Finnegan of Kearney and Vergil Nelson (Hope) of Hartington, NE; and his sister Kay Iacono (Eugene) of Minden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
