He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Stone and Minnie Stone (Miller) of St. Edward, Nebraska.; his brothers, Merlin, Leon and Leland; his parents-in-law, Louis and Amelia Happel; his brother-in-law Donald Happel; and his grandson Connor Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Happel; his children, Karen Fong (Scott) of Altoona, IA, Lyndon Stone (Tina) of Ottawa, KS and Christina Nelms (Tim) of Kearney; his grandchildren, Meagan Hock (Adam) of Ankeny, IA, Bailey Stone (Kamron) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Matthew, Lucas and Ezekiel Nelms of Kearney; his great grandchildren, Madison, George, Alexandra, Benedict Hock and Brantley Stone; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth, Patsy Stone (Merlin) and Donna Happel. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
