We announce the death of Mary Ann Richardson of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 89. Mary Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Wroblewski and Helen Wroblewski (Pruss); her husband Robert Richardson; her daughter Peggy Lou Richardson; and her siblings, Delores Ziola, Irene Spotanski and Harold Wroblewski.
She is survived by: her children, Karen (John Halkyard), Sharon (Vernon Reichmuth), Susan (David Ohlrich), Carl Richardson of Gibbon, Daniel (Michele Richardson) and Christine (Matthew Epperson); and her stepdaughter Rose Goddard of Ogden, UT. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
A vigil service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (3801 Avenue A, Kearney, NE 68847). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery.
