With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew William Hoffman in Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on March 22, 2024 at the age of 20. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his great-grandparents, Bill and Phyllis Douglass of Casper, WY. He is survived by : his parent Stephanie Sydow (Klaus) of McCook, NE; his pets, Stephanie Sydow of McCook, NE and Callie; his siblings, Ashley Sydow, Amber Hopkins and Aric Sydow of McCook, NE; his grandparents, Bruce and Debbie Hoffman of McCook, NE; his nieces, Eden, Karsyn and Freya of McCook, NE; and his nephew Reed. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Memorials in Matthew's honor, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the McCook Humane Society, PO Box 13, McCook, NE 69001; other memorial funds will be designated by the family to causes important to Matt, such as dyslexia awareness, shark conservation, and youth entrepreneurship.
