Nancy L. Lyons Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy L. Lyons of Kearney, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Walters and Opal Walters. She is survived by: her husband James H. Lyons; her children, Kelly Sommer (Jan), Kendra Sommer, Bambi Staab, Jeff Lyons (Hollie) and Stephanie Stones (Kurt); her grandchildren, Jamie Reiter (Jodi), Kortney Sommer, Kory Staab (Stefanie), Kaitlin Staab, Levi Lyons (Nici), Abbie Zimmerman (Scott), Nicole Stones (Matt) and Zack Stones (Jenna); and her sister Edna Mae Dethlefs (Rod). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Kearney Area Animal Shelter or to Aseracare Hospice.
