She was predeceased by: her parents, John O'Neill and Mary O'Neill; her husband John Parkinson; her sister May Jane Meeker; and her daughter Belinda.

She is survived by: her children, Bruce Rhea (Tricia) of Kensington, KS, Monica Walker (Kenny) of Mankato, KS, Deanna Somers (John) of North Platte, NE, Brian Gilliland (Robin) of Lincoln, NE, Brad Gilliland San Diego (Christina) and Jason Gilliand (Lisa) of Las Vegas, NV; her stepchildren, Helen Parkinson of Cambridge, England and Steven Parkinson of Edinburgh, Scotland; and her siblings, Kathy Noller (Gary) of Kensington, KS and Tim O'Neill (Lana) of Lincoln, NE. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter.
