With sadness, we share the passing of Peggy Ebmeier of Kearney, Nebraska. Peggy, born on March 1, 1952, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith O'Nele and Della O'Nele (Yarmon); her grandson Dakota Harvey; and her siblings, John O'Nele, Keith O'Nele, Cathy O'Nele, Howard O'Nele and Patrick O'Nele.
She is survived by: her children, Deri Adair (Larry) of Palacios, TX, Brian Oakley (Becky) of Colorado, Todd Hochstein (Crystal) of Sargent and Justin Kilzer (Jenny) of Grand Island; her grandchildren, Leah, Nick Kilzer, Michael, Matthew, Cain Foster and Isla Oakley; her stepchildren, Dale Ebmeier of Litchfield, Candy Patient (Larry) of Kearney and Roxanne Richard of Kearney; and her siblings, Nancy Peters (Delbert), Ada Dowell, Barbara Fast (Jim), Jerry O'Nele (Donna), Raymond Garner (Robin) and Karole O'Nele. She is also survived by step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Homes and Cremations (4115 Avenue N Pl, Kearney, NE 68847). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
