The memory of Reita J. Anderson of Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on October 13, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Wright and Ruth Wright (Poland); her husband Bill; her daughter Tammy; her grandson Travis Shafer; and her great grandchild Noah Gardine.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Bamesberger (Keith) of Columbus and Kim Reiners (Rick) of Kearney; and her grandchildren, Jason Shafer, Megan Schultz (Travis), Amanda Gardine (Austin), Andrew Reiners (Carolyn), Molly Kluver (Anthony Bax), Emily Hegemann (Brandon) and Michael Bamesberger. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home (401 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949).
A memorial has been established in Reita's honor, and kindly suggested to the First Presbyterian Church of Holdrege.
