He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmerson Evans and Dorothy Evans; his sister Deloris; his brother-in-law Don Anderson; his brother Lloyd Evans; his brother-in-law Don Wittrup; his mother-in-law Alta McIntosh; and his stepgrandson Luke Reimers.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Lee (Lonny) of Ainsworth, Timothy Wayne (Charlotte) of North Platte, Teddi Jo of Kearney, Joy Ann of Omaha and Robert Allen (Rhonda) of Sioux Falls, SD; his wife Delores Mae Geist of Whitman; his sister Janet Wittrup of Cheyenne, WY; and his sister-in-law Alda Evans of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by grandkids and great-grandkids and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Whitman Community Hall, Whitman Church, or the Whitman Cemetery.
