He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ruby and Eunice Ruby (Yarnell); his siblings, Warren Ruby, Dean Ruby, Don Ruby, Raymond Ruby, Bill Ruby (Tiny), Dorothy Vanpelt (Ross), Eileen Boyd (Raymond) and Clara Keen; and his brothers-in-law, Lefty Lewis and Joe Gouldsmith.
He is survived by: his sisters, Katie Lewis of Council Bluffs, IA and Wanda Gouldsmith of Omaha. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Memorials are suggested to the Central Nebraska Veterans Home.
