He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Neil and Mary Ann Neil (Weaver); and his brother Roy Neil. He is survived by : his pet Brady; his wife Marla Bouton of Kearney; his children, Eric Neil of New Haven, CT and Susie Aistrope of Richland, MO; his grandchildren, Zoe Wright-Neil, Zellie Smith, Lulie Power, Railan Aistrope, Bill Aistrope and Lila Neil; and his great grandchildren, Spencer Smith and Roger Smith.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gail & Michael Yanney Pavilion (2020 W 11th St, Kearney, NE 68845).
