She was predeceased by : her parents, Thearle "Parkie" Parkhurst and Fern Elizabeth "Betty" Parkhurst (Chapin); her brother Paul David Parkhurst; her son Baby Austin; and her sister Mynette Roblee.

She is survived by : her husband Donnie Franzen of Kearney, Nebraska; her sons, Steven Franzen (Jacki) of Fremont, Nebraska, Scott Franzen (Melissa) of Kearney, Nebraska and Timothy Franzen (Sara) of Parker, Colorado; her grandchildren, Noah Franzen of Lincoln, Reese Franzen of Fremont, Carter Franzen of Fremont, Kealey Widdowson (Maverick) of Shelton, Avery Franzen of Kearney and Bella Bujanda of Parker Colorado; and her cousin Connie Ourada (Ron) of Kearney. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

A memorial service was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (3315 11th Ave, Kearney, NE 68845). A burial was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 at the Farnam Cemetery.
