With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Reeves of Kearney, Nebraska, born in Ord, Nebraska, who passed away on April 29, 2024 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley A. Reeves to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward F. Proskocil and Lydia R. Proskocil (Penas). She is survived by : her husband Steve Reeves of Kearney; her daughters, Stephanie Van Campen (Andrew) of Holdrege and Shauna Kuszak (Tony) of Loup City; her grandchildren, Hannah, Bryce Van Campen and Carter Kuszak; and her siblings, Linda Hansen (Les) of Kearney, Vern Proskocil (Pam) of Kearney, Eugene Proskocil of Ord and Robert Proskocil of Ord. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Riverdale Community Center (221 3rd Ave, Riverdale, NE 68870). A reception was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are kindly suggested to the family for future designation or to the donor's choice in Shirley's honor.
