He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Buettner and Shirley Buettner. He is survived by: his wife Jacki (Brill); his son Drew Buettner (Emily); his grandchild Hillie; his daughter Lauren Quinn (Adam); his stepmother Peggy Buettner; his sisters, Teresa Ingram (Todd) and Cara Buettner; his nephew Jake Babcock (Jakie); and his niece Paige Babcock. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services (2421 Avenue A, Kearney, NE 68847). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the New Life Church (2715 W 39th St, Kearney, NE 68845).
