He is survived by: his daughter Monica Epp (Travis) of Kearney; his grandchildren, Rileigh, Waylon Epp of Kearney, Jaxson, Logan Potter-Snodgrass of Creighton, Bronson Wallace and Hudson Stull of Kearney; and his siblings, Jack Daugherty (Jan) of Hyannis, Chuck Daugherty (Deb) of Lyons, Roger Daugherty of Kearney, Rodney Daugherty (Betty) of Valentine, Darrel Daugherty (Lisa) of Atkinson, Greg Daugherty (Deb) of Crookston, Steve Daugherty of Crookston, Fred Daugherty (Melissa) of Valentine, Jean Daugherty (Kenny) of Martin, SD and Rhonda Siebert of Bradshaw. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Homes and Cremations (4115 Avenue N Pl, Kearney, NE 68847).
