He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Boesen and Rose Boesen (Jensen); his son Scott Boesen; his son-in-law Dave Bosle; his siblings, Larry Boesen and Janice; his brother-in-law John Gossin; and his nephew Jeff Gossin.
He is survived by: his wife Mary "Jackie" Steinke; his children, Debi Boesen of Hastings, Tami Nabower (Neal) of Grand Island and Brad Boesen of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Anthony Nabower (Angie), Katie Pfanstiel (Shawn), Nick Nabower, Evan Boesen and Quinn Boesen; his great grandchildren, Emma, Hannah, Molly, Collin and Jillian Pfanstiel; his grandsons, Ben and Grayson Nabower; and his brother Randall Boesen (Joan).
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pauls Lutheran Church (310 N 4th Ave, Kenesaw, NE 68956).
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or The Children's Museum of Central Nebraska.
