He was predeceased by: his parents, Candido Vigil and Josephine Vigil; his son Arthur Ernest Vigil, Jr.; and his brothers, Roy Vigil, Junior Vigil, Telesforo Vigil and Johnny Vigil.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Vigil of Kimball, NE; his children, Paul Vigil (Theresa) of Rio Rancho, NM., Johnny Vigil of Scottsbluff, NE., Mark Vigil of Kimball, NE and Lauri Delaney (Kevin) of Cheyenne, WY; and his sister Laura Hollingsworth of Champagne, IL. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
His contributions to the school community were appreciated by all, reflecting his unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
