He was predeceased by: his father Richard Burback. He is survived by: his mother Betti Burback (Knoblauch) of Kimball, NE; his sons, Ryan of Kimball, NE and Steven Burback of Kimball, NE; his sisters, Kim Baliman (Todd) of Kimball, NE and Pam Boer (Wayne) of Lyons, SD; and his grandchildren, Nash Richard Burback, Elly Lou Burback, Jayda Drew Burback and Colt Edward Burback.

Memorials may be given in John's name to the Kimball FFA or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
